For a relaxing holiday, the best places to visit are Punta Cana and Santo Domingo. Punta Cana has plenty to offer – it is the most popular of the three main cities in the Dominican republic. The first one is a three-day Dominican Republic vacation from/to Punta Cana which includes visits to the beautiful Playa Esmeralda, Los Haitises national park, and other places that make it the ideal itinerary for an enjoyable short trip. Spend at least part of the day at the beach, relax by the pool, or just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

For an afternoon of shopping, Los Micos is the place to go. Here you’ll find lots of discount stores, street markets, boutiques, restaurants, and other interesting shops. You might also want to spend some time at one of the beach’s. The best things about a three-day Dominican republic itinerary are the various beaches and resorts here. Santo Domingo beach has several activities to enjoy, but most tourists tend to head for the beach during the hot summer months. Other beaches in the area include Santa Rosa, Cano Domingo, and Puerto Plata.

Along the north coast of the Dominican republic, visitors will find the perfect place to enjoy the sun. Punta Cana boasts some beautiful white-sand beaches that line the coast, making it an ideal place to spend an entire day or two. One of the best things about a day trip is the abundance of local tourist attractions.

To the south of the peninsula, you will come across another fantastic place. Calle San Jose, located in the town of Saman, offers a unique view of the beach. While most travelers head for Punta Cana, Saman is a nice place to spend the day as well. Tourists typically spend the day sightseeing around the beautiful beach and island. For those interested in snorkeling, there is an open-air swimming center on the island that features many different species of marine life.

On the east coast, the next stop for visitors in the Dominican republic would be Puerto Plata. Once known simply as “Puerto Plata,” this part of the capital is becoming increasingly popular among tourists. Known for its picturesque rural architecture and lush green gardens, Puerto Plata is a lovely place to spend the day. The main attraction of Puerto Plata is definitely the gorgeous redonda, which is endemic to the region. However, even if the redonda isn’t your kind of attraction, there are plenty of other social Distancing attractions to make your trip worthwhile. Puerto Plata is also home to several world class restaurants and hotels.
